It has been almost half a year since the “Belarus migrant crisis” began, in which a large number of immigrants rushed from Belarus to the European Union (EU). With the arrival of winter, new influxes of migrants and clashes with Polish border guards have subsided, but SOS from the deep inside of snow-covered forests continues. Along with increasing tensions of the security situation in neighboring Ukraine, whereabouts of the “frozen” crisis, which connects to military and energy security, is becoming more complex.
